Optical Precision is seeking a CNC Turner Setter Operator to support manufacturing of parts for motorsport and automotive sectors. The role involves reading engineering drawings, editing programs to maintain size and tolerance, and loading/unloading parts on CNC lathes.

You will work 40 hours weekly with overtime as needed. Strong attention to detail, initiative and teamwork are essential. Benefits include pension, 25 days holiday, private healthcare and company events.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years relevant production experience.
• Experience setting & running CNC lathes.
• Required to work overtime in line with company needs.

Responsabilités

• Read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Edit programs to maintain size and tolerance.
• Load and unload parts onto machines.
• Programme proving of new products as required.
• Maintain notes in machine log book.
• Adhere to quality, health & safety policies.
• Liaise with production engineering, design and inspection.
