Job summary

Interaction Technical is partnering with a well-established precision engineering manufacturer in Northampton for a CNC Turner Programmer, Setter & Operator. You will program, set and run Fanuc CNC lathes to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances, working with exotic alloys and complex drawings.

The role offers a permanent, full-time position with a 38-hour week, overtime availability and a strong focus on training and progression within a stable, growing business.

Qualifications

• Time-served CNC Turner with programming, setting and operating experience.
• Strong knowledge of Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining exotic alloys.
• Competent using inspection and measuring equipment.
• High attention to detail and ability to work to tight tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC turning machines.
• Produce precision components to customer specifications.
• Read and interpret 2D engineering drawings.
• Machine a variety of materials including Duplex, Titanium and Hastelloy.
• Inspect and verify components to tight tolerances.
• Conduct in-process and final quality checks.
• Maintain safe working practices and housekeeping standards.
• Support production targets and continuous improvement initiatives.

The Role
