Job summary

Optical Precision in Richmond is seeking an experienced CNC Turner, Setter and Operator to work on Fanuc-controlled Doosan or Miyano lathes. The role involves editing programs at the machine and producing high-precision one-off and small-batch components from aerospace and exotic materials.

Requirements include setting/operating CNC lathes with Fanuc controls, reading drawings, and prior experience in a high-precision environment. Daily work on days with overtime available.

Qualifications

• Must have experience setting and operating CNC lathes, ideally Doosan or Miyano lathes using Fanuc controls; training can be given if needed.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience in high-precision manufacturing environments.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC Doosan or Miyano lathes using Fanuc controls.
• Machine to tight tolerances on one-off and small-batch parts.
• Produce aerospace and general engineering components from exotic materials.
