Job summary

Optical Precision is seeking an experienced CNC Turner, Setter and Operator to work on Fanuc-controlled lathes. The role involves editing programs at the machine to produce high-precision aerospace and general engineering components to tight tolerances.

Candidates should have proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes (Doosan or Haas) and be able to read engineering drawings. Overtime and benefits are included in the package.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Experience in high-precision machining environments.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC lathes (Doosan or Haas) with Fanuc controls.
• Manufacture components to tight tolerances from aerospace/general engineering materials.
• Produce one-off and small-batch parts.
• Edit programs at the machine to meet drawings.
