Job summary

The Recruitment Fix is seeking an apprenticeship trained CNC Turner to join a busy specialist engineering company in Hyde. You will programme, set and operate Puma and Haas lathes with Fanuc control, producing components to tight tolerances on valve-type applications.

This permanent role offers a day shift Monday to Friday, with regular overtime. The company provides 100% product training, a 5% pension contribution, and a generous holiday entitlement.

Qualifications

• You will be a highly skilled machinist.
• Able to operate, set and programme lathes and vertical borers.
• Experience of working to fine tolerances is essential.
• Capable of reading, understanding, and producing programs from complex drawings.

Currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Turner to join a very busy specialist engineering company in Hyde.

About you

• You will be a highly skilled machinist
• Able to operate set and programme lathes and vertical borers
• It’s essential you have experience of working to fine tolerances
• Capable of reading understanding, and producing programs from complex drawings

The Job

• Programme set and operating Puma, Haas lathes with Fanuc control systems
• Working on valve type applications
• The role is a permanent position and will be offered on a day shift Monday to Friday

What you get

• Salary starting at £18.37 per hour
• Hours of work Mon to Thurs 7.45am – 5pm Fri 7.45 – 10.45am + regular overtime available
• Pension contributions where the company contributes 5%
• Generous holiday scheme, 25 days a year plus 8 statutory days also we offer service days where you get 1 extra day for every 5 years’ service.
