Job summary

Gi Group UK is seeking an experienced CNC Turner to join our engineering team in the Leicester area. You will program, set and operate Fanuc turning machines to produce bearing housings, prototypes and one-off parts from steel, aluminium and other metals.

The role requires reading drawings, ensuring quality standards, and supporting general workshop tasks. In return you can expect a yearly performance bonus, 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension and regular pay reviews.

Qualifications

• CNC Turner Programmer/Setter with strong experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience machining a variety of metals.
• Reliable, accurate and quality-focused.

Responsibilities

• CNC turning, programming and setting using Fanuc controls.
• Produce bearing housings, one-off parts and prototypes.
• Machining with steel, aluminium, cast iron and other materials.
• Support general workshop tasks when required.
• Ensure all work meets quality and accuracy standards.
