Optima UK Inc Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Turner Programmer to join a precision engineering team in Wolverhampton. You will be responsible for offline programming, setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce high-quality components to tight tolerances.

The role requires strong Alphacam experience, Doosan/DMG NLX familiarity, and the ability to read engineering drawings. Excellent progression opportunities and a stable long-term role are offered.

Qualifications

Proven experience in CNC turning.
Strong offline programming and setting experience.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
Strong understanding of precision tolerances and quality.

Responsibilities

Creating and modifying offline CNC programmes using Alphacam.
Setting and operating CNC turning machines.
Working with Doosan and DMG NLX machines.
Programming and editing using Fanuc controls.
Producing precision components to drawings and specifications.
Carrying out quality checks with measuring equipment.
Working to production schedules and deadlines.
Supporting continuous improvement within machining.
