Job summary

Ganymede Solutions Ltd. in West Yorkshire is seeking an experienced CNC Turner / Operator to join their machining team in a hands-on role producing components from engineering drawings.

Experience setting CNC turning machines and working with Haas, Eumach or Dah Lih machines is advantageous. In this permanent position you will set and operate CNC turning machines, inspect parts to tolerances, and contribute to a safe, efficient production flow.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Turner/Operator, with background in manufacturing.
• Apprentice-trained or time-served with GCSE Maths and English at grade C/4 or above.
• Able to read engineering drawings and work to tight tolerances.
• Experience with Haas, Eumach or Dah Lih machines is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Set and operate CNC turning machines safely and efficiently to produce components from engineering drawings.
• Inspect finished components and maintain quality standards to tolerances.
• Assist with stock control and ensure production targets are met.
• Keep work area safe and organised.
