Job summary

Recruit Engineering in South Kirkby is seeking a CNC Turner to join the night shift, producing precision components for major tours and events. You will set and operate CNC lathes, read engineering drawings, and work on projects for live entertainment worldwide.

The role requires experience with CNC lathes, ability to interpret drawings, and comfort working nights independently. Fanuc controls are preferred, with Fusion 360 knowledge benefiting candidates.

CNC Turner - Night Shift

South Kirkby | £18.60-£21.00 per hour (inc. 20% night shift uplift) | Permanent | Nights

A globally recognised business in South Kirkby that designs and builds bespoke staging, set pieces, and stage machinery for the live entertainment industry is looking for a CNC Turner for its night shift. You'll be producing precision components for major tours, concerts, and live events worldwide - interesting and varied work.

What you'll be doing:

• Setting and operating CNC lathes
• Programming at the machine where applicable
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances for bespoke entertainment projects
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Carrying out in-process inspection to maintain quality standards
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised work area

What you need:

• Proven experience setting and operating CNC lathes
