Pro-Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a well-established precision engineering company in the United Kingdom to hire a CNC Turner who will program, set and operate Doosan turning centres with Fanuc controls.

The role is full time and permanent, offering £16–£19 per hour depending on experience, with responsibilities including inspecting components, ensuring quality, and mentoring apprentices while maintaining health and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CNC turner.
• Experience programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC turning centres.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Proficient in the use of measuring equipment.
• Experience working to tight tolerances.
• Strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Program, set up and operate 3 & 4 axis Doosan turning centres (Fanuc controls).
• Manufacture precision components to specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Inspect finished components using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure compliance with quality requirements.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered to.
• Support and mentor apprentices where required.
