Job summary

Rheinmetall is establishing a new production site in Telford for large calibre barrels. We are seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator (turning) to join the team on a full-time, onsite basis across a 3-shift operation.

You will prepare, set up and operate CNC turning machines, machine components up to 10 m with tight tolerances, and ensure quality through regular measurements and self-checks. The role involves working to SAP orders and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC-Operator with turning technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, set-up and operate large CNC turning machines.
• Machining high-quality components up to 10 m with tight tolerances.
• Produce according to SAP production orders and instructions.
• Check and measure finished components to specifications.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes and tooling.
• Assist maintenance to fix equipment issues.
