Job summary

JobsTrackR in Coventry is seeking an experienced CNC Turner setter/operator to join our production team, setting and operating CNC turning machines to produce components to technical drawings and route cards, while maintaining quality in a busy manufacturing environment.

You will work with Haas, Puma and Mazak, perform tool and offset changes, carry out first-off inspections and in-process checks, and keep accurate shop-floor records while upholding housekeeping, safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experienced in CNC Machining.
• Basic computer literacy and willingness to support wider production.
• Passionate about producing high-quality parts.
• Manufacturing background.
• Willingness to learn.
• Good communication skills and basic computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machinery
• Carrying out tool, insert and offset changes
• Completing first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
• Working from technical drawings and manufacturing documentation
• Using appropriate measuring equipment to ensure components meet specification
• Completing production paperwork and maintaining accurate shop-floor recordsMaintaining high standards of housekeeping, safety and quality
