Job summary

Rheinmetall is establishing a new manufacturing site in Telford and seeks a skilled CNC Setter/Operator for milling to produce high-precision components. You will set up and run CNC milling machines, including 5-axis systems, and ensure parts meet tight tolerances in a state-of-the-art environment.

Joining the UK Gun Hall project, you will contribute to fast-growing production, work in a clean, temperature-controlled facility, and have access to ongoing training and career development

Qualifications

• Experience as a CNC-Operator/Miller with setting duties.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
• Competent with measuring equipment for self-checks and QC.
• Awareness of quality control processes in a high-precision environment.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC milling machines (including 5-axis).
• Machine high-precision components for large calibre weapons systems.
• Check finished parts against specifications and test plans.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of tooling, processes and layouts.
