ABS Talent is recruiting a CNC Turner – Setter/Operator or Programmer for a Stoke-on-Trent based precision engineering client operating to ISO 9001 standards. The role offers a 4-day week (Mon-Thu, 7:00am–5:00pm) with weekends starting Thursday evening and a competitive hourly rate.

You will set, operate or program CNC turning centres (Doosan, Puma, Miyano) with Fanuc controls, reading drawings, producing tight-tolerance parts for prototypes and production runs, and conducting first-off

Formación

• Experience as a CNC Turner — Setter/Operator or Programmer.
• Confident on Fanuc controls; Doosan/Puma/Miyano experience is a plus.
• Able to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Comfortable working to tight tolerances.
• Reliable and quality-focused team player.

Responsabilidades

• Setting and operating (and/or programming) CNC turning machines.
• Producing precision components to tight tolerances and drawing specifications.
• Working across prototype and batch production in various materials.
• Tooling selection and interpreting engineering drawings.
• First-off and in-process inspection to quality standards.
