A leading client based near Keighley is seeking skilled CNC Turners to join their growing team on a permanent basis. Candidates should have strong experience in programming and operating CNC Lathes with Fanuc controls, as well as the capability to work with engineering drawings and precise tolerances. Ideal candidates will also pass security checks as UK citizens.

Job description

Due to a continued growth we are recruiting a number of CNC Turners to join our leading client based near Keighley on a permanent basis. Successful candidates will be time served to ensure that jobs are manufactured in accordance with supplied technical drawings and specifications however those with demonstrable work experience will be considered.

Candidates will be required to programme, set and operate a range of CNC Lathes utilising Fanuc controls. (Candidates with strong editing/ Setting experience will be considered)

Due to the nature of work produced, candidates will also be required to pass a security check and therefore must be a UK Citizen and also have a clean criminal record.

Hours - 39 hours per week ( Flexible Hours Mon- Thurs 6 - 3/ 7- 4 /8-5 / Friday 6-11/7 12/8-1)

Overtime paid at premium rates.

The Ideal candidates will have :

• Experience working within a machine shop environment machining components to fine tolerances
• The ability to programme, set and operate CNC Lathes utilising Fanuc controls
• The ability to read, understand and work to engineering drawings.

Candidate Skills

• Ideally Time-served with demonstrable experience programming and operating CNC Lathes working to very tight tolerances.
• Experience Programming / Editing using Fanuc controls
• Experience working with castings and a range of materials including Stainless, Duplex, Bronze, Aluminium would be advantageous
