Hours of Work – Monday to Thursday 08.00am until 17.00pm and Friday 08.00am until 16:00pm

We have a great opportunity for a Spiral Machine Operator / Relief Warehouse Operative to join our established team in our Kent branch.

Within this role you will produce spirally wound tube of the highest quality using the onsite Spiral Forming machine ensuring that all lock seams are 'tight', that 'end treatment' renders the product safe to handle and the product complies with the Company’s specification and tolerances. You will ensure that stocks of standard sizes are adequately maintained, and that there is constant liaison with the sales office / Branch Manager (BM) to ensure that all special requirements and project orders are met.

You will also provide relief warehouse duties including receiving and accurately processing all goods-in, storing away goods for stocks pick/packing goods for dispatch and loading/unloading vehicles.

Our ideal candidate will have experience of working within a similar role. A counterbalance forklift licence is desirable and it would be advantageous for you to have previously operated a forklift, reach and counterbalance.

We are welcoming applications from self-motivated team players with the ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure. You will have manual handling and spiral tube forming experience
