Job summary

Talent Solutions Staffing UK is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to join a high-precision machine shop in Fareham. The role offers a salary of £34,275 to £36,331 per year and a 37.5-hour week in a stable aerospace production environment.

You will set and operate CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes, machining small parts to tight tolerances, with training provided to become a CNC programmer.

We encourage development and progression, with on-the-job training and support to grow into CNC programming.

Qualifications

• Experience as CNC Machinist capable of programming, setting and operating multi-axis CNC lathes.
• Experience in high-precision environments.
• Sliding head experience desirable but not essential.

Are you a skilled CNC Turner looking to work in a stable, high-precision, production environment? Are you looking for training & progression, especially into CNC programming?

We're recruiting for a CNC Turner to join the machine shop team for a large Aerospace business manufacturing high-precision components.

If you enjoy working to tight tolerances, producing quality components, and being part of a structured production environment, this could be the role for you.

The Role

You’ll be working within a machine shop team focused on CNC turning operations. The site operates a range of CNC automatic lathes, particularly sliding head machines.

You will be:

• Setting and operating CNC sliding head multi-axis lathes
• Working to tight tolerances machining small parts for Aerospace manufacturing
• Developing your skills as a Machinist, with support provided to learn CNC programming

Experience

We are looking for:

• A CNC Machinist capable of programming, setting and operating mulit-axis CNC lathes
• Experience in high precision environments
• Sliding head experience would be highly desirable, although not essential
