Our client based in Sandy is recruiting for CNC Turners. They are hiring for a Setter/Operator and a Programmer.

The ideal candidates would have sliding head experience, but this is not essential.

CNC Turner

All roles are full-time and permanent.

Hours: 40 hours per week

Schedule: Monday – Thursday 07:30-16:30, Friday 07:30-15:00

Overtime: Paid at 1.5x basic wage for hours worked over 40 hours.

Pay: £12-£19 per hour, depending on experience and skills test outcomes (Operator/Setter/Programmer).

CNC Turner Core Responsibilities

• Operate various machinery flexibly to meet production schedules and targets
• Ensure orders meet quality standards, budgets, and deadlines
• Produce programs from customer drawings and specifications in the company standard format
• Inspect parts following the Checking/Inspection Process
• Monitor work practices, provide feedback to improve efficiency and profitability
• Follow health & safety procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area according to housekeeping standards
• Perform weekly machinery maintenance and record in maintenance logs
• Comply with environmental and recycling policies
• Perform additional duties as required
• Willing to train and share knowledge with team members, including apprentices
