Job Title: CNC Turner – Setter (Gears & Gauge Manufacturing)

Location: Tamworth / Nuneaton
Salary: £18.00 – £20.00 per hour (dependent on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

The Role:

We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Turner with setting experience to join our skilled team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting and operating CNC lathes to produce high-precision components in line with technical drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set and operate CNC turning machines (Fanuc/Siemens controls preferred)
2. Interpret technical drawings and work to tight tolerances
3. Inspect parts using measuring equipment such as micrometers, gauges, and verniers
4. Maintain a clean and safe working environment
5. Contribute to continuous improvement activities and support production targets

Requirements:

1. Proven experience as a CNC Turner with setting capability
2. Background in precision engineering, ideally within gear or gauge product manufacturing
3. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
4. Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset
5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team
