Job summary

Hyde Group in Denton is seeking a skilled CNC Turner to program, set and operate Mazak lathes to produce aerospace components to tight tolerances.

You will read engineering drawings, work to AS9100 standards, and collaborate with engineering and quality teams in a fast-paced, supportive environment.

Qualifications

• This role requires proven CNC Turner experience in precision/aerospace environments.
• Strong Mazak/Mazatrol programming knowledge is essential.
• Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings accurately.
• Familiarity with AS9100 quality standards and processes.
• Excellent attention to detail and proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Program, set, and operate Mazak CNC lathes using Mazatrol controls.
• Manufacture complex aerospace components from technical drawings.
• Work to AS9100 and aerospace quality standards.
• Conduct in-process inspection using precision measuring equipment.
• Collaborate with engineering and quality teams to ensure compliance and efficiency.

The Hyde Group are established industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a CNC Turner, working at our busy manufacturing site in Denton.
