Job summary

Jackie Kerr Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Turner – Programmer / Setter / Operator for a precision engineering employer in Kidlington. You will program, set and operate multi-axis lathes to manufacture components from customer drawings with tight tolerances.

The ideal candidate has strong Fanuc controls experience, reads engineering drawings and maintains quality through accurate inspections. This role offers a supportive team, regular hours, on-site parking and a pension.

Qualifications

• Experience programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Good knowledge of Fanuc machine controls.
• Able to read and work from engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC multi-axis lathes
• Manufacturing precision-engineered components to drawings
• Carrying out manual inspections to ensure quality
• Working with a range of metals and materials
• Maintaining accurate documentation and procedures
• Operating multiple machines when required
