Job summary

A well-established manufacturing business in Glenrothes is seeking a full-time, permanent CNC Turner. In this role, you will set and operate CNC Lathes, primarily using Fanuc controls, and contribute to the production of high-value small batch components. Applicants should have relevant training or experience and be able to interpret engineering drawings effectively.

Qualifications

• Time served or significant relevant on-the-job training.
• Competent in setting and operation of CNC Lathes using Fanuc.
• Capable of understanding complex engineering drawings.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time, permanent, CNC Turner to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Glenrothes.
Manufacturer of high value, small to medium size, small batch, sub-contract and sub-assemblies for clients in a variety of materials.
The Role

• Set and operate a variety of CNC Lathes, predominately using Fanuc controls.
• Monday - Thursday 7am-5.15pm

The Candidate

• Time served or be able to demonstrate significant, relevant, on the job training.
• Competent in setting and operation of the CNC Lathes using Fanuc Machines
• Capable of understanding complex engineering drawings
• Ability to recognize, solve & implement required changes for machining related problems
• Ability to work in a team and use own initiative
