As a CNC Turner , you will operate CNC turning machines to produce small precision parts according to specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Program, set up, and operate CNC turning machines.
• Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work orders to determine machining requirements.
• Select and install appropriate cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each job.
• Monitor machine operations to ensure proper functioning and make necessary adjustments.
• Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy using precision measuring instruments.
• Perform routine maintenance on machines and equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Requirements:

• Previously worked as a CNC Turner or in a similar role.
• Basic experience with CNC machines.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• GCSE or equivalent qualification would be preferred.
