Job summary

EMBS Engineering Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join their Derbyshire-based team on a permanent basis. The role focuses on turning components on multi-axis CNC machines, with strict quality standards for aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, and transport sectors.

The ideal candidate will have Fanuc experience, be proficient with micrometers, calipers and verniers, and be comfortable working with low-volume batches (1–20 parts).

Qualifications

• Background in precision engineering, aerospace/automotive/defence/energy/transport sectors preferred.
• Ability to edit and adjust offsets on CNC machines (Fanuc experience highly desirable).
• Experience with precision measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, verniers.
• Experience in low-volume, prototype, or mixed-batch manufacturing environments.
• UK residents only; no visa sponsorship for overseas candidates.

Successful Applicants Must Be Able to Demonstrate

• Background in precision engineering — aerospace, automotive, defence, energy, or transport sectors preferred

• Competence with precision measuring equipment: micrometers, calipers, verniers
