Job summary

EMBS Engineering is seeking CNC Turners at our Nottinghamshire site to join a precision engineering operation supporting aerospace and other high-spec industries. You will set and operate twin turret, twin spindle CNC turning machines on night shifts, machining small to medium components from aluminium, stainless steel and titanium from engineering drawings.

The role demands at least three years' CNC Turner experience, familiarity with Fanuc or Mazatrol controls and proven ability to hold tight

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Turner.
• Experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines.
• Twin Turret, Twin Spindle experience desirable.
• Experience with Fanuc and Mazatrol controls.
• Experience machining complex parts for precision industries (Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas).
• Experience with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium.
• Experience machining to tight tolerances.

Your responsibilities include:

Successful applicants MUST be able to demonstrate:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a CNC Turner
• Experience setting and operating multi-axis CNC machines
• Twin Turrett, Twin Spindle experience would be desirable but not essential
• Experience working with Fanuc and/or Mazatrol
• Previous machined complex parts for precision industries including Aerospace, Motorsport, Nuclear, MOD, Oil & Gas etc
• Previously worked with Aluminium, Stainless Steel and Titanium
• Experience with machining to tight tolerances
