CNC Turner required to join a leading subcontractor specializing in high-precision fabrication and machining services. This company serves a diverse range of industries including automotive, oil & gas, and heavy equipment. They are looking for a CNC Turner with experience in programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled machines.

CNC Turner Job Overview

1. Program, set, and operate Fanuc-controlled CNC lathes.
2. Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to determine machining requirements.
3. Adjust machine settings, tooling, and offsets to optimize performance and ensure tight tolerances.
4. Conduct regular inspections of produced parts using precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
5. Maintain accurate records of setups, adjustments, and maintenance performed.
6. Troubleshoot machine malfunctions and perform basic maintenance as needed.

CNC Turner Job Requirements

1. Previous CNC turning experience with programming, setting, and operating Fanuc-controlled machines.
2. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
3. Familiarity with various materials.
4. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

CNC Turner Salary & Benefits

1. Full-time, permanent position.
2. Monday to Friday, 39-hour workweek (early finish on Fridays).
3. Salary: £15-£18 per hour, depending on experience.
4. Competitive annual leave.
