Job summary

Rise Technical Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Turner for an aerospace precision engineering manufacturer in the Birmingham area. You will set, program and operate CNC turning machines, reading engineering drawings and using Fanuc controls to produce high-precision components.

Working Monday to Thursday 8:00am-4:30pm and Friday 8:00am-3:00pm, site-based with a salary of £38,000-£42,000 plus 25 days holiday.

Qualifications

• Experience setting up CNC turning machines and programming to tight tolerances.
• Proficiency with Fanuc controls and reading engineering drawings.
• Comfortable using precision measuring equipment for quality checks.

Are you an experienced CNC Turner with programming and Fanuc control experience? Are you looking to join a growing aerospace manufacturer where you'll work on precision components with opportunities to progress as the business continues to expand? Due to continued growth and the retirement of a long-standing employee, they are looking to strengthen their machining team with an experienced CNC Turner. Work for a growing aerospace manufacturer supplying precision-engineered components for the aircraft engine aftermarket. The day-to-day of this role involves setting, programming and operating CNC turning machines, working from engineering drawings, selecting tooling, carrying out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment, making machine offsets to maintain tight tolerances, and ensuring all work meets the high standards required within the aerospace industry.

The ideal candidate will have experience programming and operating CNC turning machines, be confident using Fanuc controls, have the ability to read engineering drawings, and possess a strong understanding of precision machining and quality standards.
