Job summary

Rubicon Recruitment Agency in New Milton is seeking a Trainee CNC Technician. You’ll start with structured training and be part of a hands-on manufacturing team, with regular Monday to Thursday hours and an early finish on Fridays.

Pay starts at £12.71 per hour, with a clear progression path that can reach up to £35k per annum as you gain experience and skills. Initially a temporary role with the potential to become permanent for the right person.

Qualifications

• No previous CNC experience required and full training provided.
• Interest in engineering or manufacturing careers is helpful.
• Reliable, punctual and keen to learn.
• Willing to commit to full-time hours Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Learn to set and operate CNC machinery under guidance.
• Read and interpret basic engineering drawings.
• Monitor machine cycles and check finished parts for quality.
• Keep the work area safe, clean and organised.
• Report faults or issues to senior technicians promptly.
