Wise Employment are currently recruiting for an exciting permanent opportunity for a CNC Skilled Machinist for a well-established and reputable company based in Bideford, North Devon.

Due to continued growth and investment, we are looking for an experienced CNC Skilled Machinist for a permanent role offering a salary of £29,406 per annum. This will be working Monday to Friday 39 hours per week (Monday to Thursday 8am to 5pm and 8am to 1pm on a Friday).

This role as a CNC Skilled Machinist will see you producing machined parts to meet the dimensional specifications of the mechanical drawings by programming, setting up, and operating CNC machines and potentially manual machines also.

You will need to have experience of programming Hurco (WinMax), Mazak and XYZ (ProtoTrak) controls along with CNC Machining experience (Mills and lathes) and knowledge of CAD and CAM.

You will need to have experience of setting / operating Manual cylindrical machines, grinding machines, surface grinding machines, centre lathe and milling machines.

To be successful as a Skilled CNC Machinist, you will need to have a qualification in a technical subject and a high level of functional and technical skills. You will be experienced in working to specifications, have strong attention to detail and ability to think logically. You will be a team player and be customer focused to ensure products are delivered to the highest of standards.
