Job summary

System Recruitment Limited is seeking experienced CNC setters, operators and programmers for multiple full‑time, permanent roles. These positions are commutable from Poole, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Weymouth, Wareham and surrounding Dorset areas.

You will set and run CNC turning machines from engineering drawings, use Fanuc controls, and edit speeds/feeds where required. Programming is a strong plus but not essential.

Qualifications

• CNC turning and/or CNC programming experience required or advantageous.
• Ability to work from engineering drawings.
• Familiar with Fanuc controls and basic offsets/tool setting.
• Reliable, self-motivated and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines.

Pay: £14.50ph to £22.50ph depending on skills and experience

Hours: Monday - Thursday: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm

Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for an experienced CNC Turners (Setters / Operators) and CNC Programmers to join our team. Programming skills would be a strong advantage but are not essential.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC turning machines
• (Programmer Role) Proven experience programming CNC machines (essential)
• Working from engineering drawings
• Using Fanuc controls (offsets, tool setting, program editing)
• Editing programs (speeds/feeds) where required
• Following and updating work instruction sheets
• Tool changes (tips/cutters)
• Inspecting your own work before first-offMaintaining tight tolerances and quality standards
• Adhering to ISO 9001 processes
• General housekeeping (5S) and Health & Safety compliance

• Strong setting and operating experience (essential)
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented

The role will suit individuals currently working as CNC Setter, CNC Turner, CNC Operator, CNC Programmer, Engineer and be living within a commutable distance of Poole, Bournemouth, Dorchester, Blandford Forum, Weymouth, Wareham, Dorset or be willing to relocate.
