Job summary

Pertemps Wolverhampton Temps is recruiting for an experienced CNC Setter / Programmer in Wolverhampton. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, 07:30–16:00, producing precision components from engineering drawings and specifications.

You will programme, set and operate CNC milling machinery (Hurco centres), create and edit CNC programmes, select tooling, speeds and feeds, and interpret drawings to exact tolerances. First-off inspections and precision measurement are required.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a CNC Setter/Programmer in manufacturing or precision engineering.
Strong CNC milling experience, 3-5 axis machines preferred.
Experience with Hurco controls and WinMax conversational controls.
Experience with Fanuc CNC controls and G-code programming.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and tolerances.

Responsibilities

Programme, set and operate CNC milling machines, including Hurco machining centres.
Create, edit and prove CNC programmes with correct tooling, speeds, feeds and work holding.
Read and interpret engineering drawings to manufacture components to exact specifications.
Carry out first-off inspections using precision measuring equipment to ensure quality standards.
