Job summary

E3 Recruitment is working with a globally operating manufacturing business to fill a permanent CNC Setter Operator role in Leeds. The successful candidate will set and operate Fanuc and HAAS controlled centres, machining oil and gas components and contributing to process improvements.

The role requires experience in high precision machining, with formal qualifications desirable and a 37-hour week. Salary starts at £16.45 per hour with 33 days leave and pension options.

Qualifications

• Ideal but not essential: formal qualifications in Mechanical Engineering or Machining (Apprenticeship/NVQ/BTEC/City & Guilds Level 3).
• Experience as Programmer/Setter/Operator or Machinist in high precision machining.

Responsibilities

• Setting and operating Fanuc & HAAS machining centres.
• Machining oil and gas components from various materials.
• Assist with new cutting strategies, programme improvement and efficiency.
