Job summary

Echo Personnel Limited in Corby is recruiting an experienced CNC Setter for a well-established precision engineering and manufacturing company. This permanent role offers an opportunity to work in a modern manufacturing environment with a focus on accuracy, efficiency and safety.

Salary £28,000–£32,000 per annum plus an attendance bonus of £1,800 per year (£150 per month). Benefits include 25 days holiday, pension, and a Christmas shutdown.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a CNC Setter.
• Experience setting CNC milling and CNC turning (lathe) machines.
• Proficient with HAAS and Fanuc controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings accurately.
• Competent with Vernier calipers and precision measuring tools.

Responsibilities

• Set and prepare CNC milling and CNC lathe machines for production.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specs accurately.
• Carry out quality inspections using precision measuring equipment.
• Use Vernier calipers and other measuring tools to verify components.
• Adjust machine settings and troubleshoot machining issues during production.
• Maintain high quality while meeting production schedules.
• Ensure machinery is operated safely and efficiently.
• Follow company health and safety procedures and keep a clean workspace.
