Job summary

Reactive Driving Recruitment Ltd are seeking an experienced CNC Setter/Operator for a full-time day shift role in Aldridge. The candidate will set up and operate HAAS CNC machines, read engineering drawings and ensure components are produced to drawings and tolerances.

Experience with CNC learning across multiple controls is beneficial, with a focus on accuracy, quality, and adherence to safety. From £14.50 per hour for day shifts and a supportive production team.

Qualifications

• Experience setting and operating CNC machines in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience using precision measuring equipment (calipers, micrometers).
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up tooling, fixtures and machine parameters for production runs.
• Set and operate HAAS CNC machines.
• Read and interpret drawings and tolerances.
• Carry out first-off and ongoing dimensional checks.
• Monitor tooling condition and make adjustments.
• Maintain a safe and clean working area.
• Record production and inspection information.
