Actio Recruitment is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist in Bradford to join a precision engineering manufacturer. The role requires setting up and programming CNC turning and manual machining, with experience on Hwaecheon centres and Colchester-Harrison lathes. Fanuc/Siemens/XYZ control knowledge and drawing interpretation are essential.

The position offers a permanent, full-time role with a 40-hour week and an early finish on Fridays, with a competitive hourly rate dependent on experience.

Qualifikationen

• Experience operating and setting CNC and manual lathes, milling machines or similar equipment.
• Experience with online programming and editing is essential.
• Knowledge of Fanuc, Siemens or XYZ CNC controls.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles.
• Experience working to tight tolerances and quality specifications.
• Apprentice-trained candidates preferred, although those qualified through experience will be considered.
• Forklift truck licence would be beneficial.

• Set up, program and operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently.
• Carry out machining operations to meet engineering specifications and required tolerances.

• Use gauges and precision measuring instruments to ensure component quality.
