Job summary

Pall Corporation is hiring for a CNC Machinist to operate CNC lathe and milling machines, interpreting drawings and maintaining quality. The role requires adherence to safety, planning documents, and continuous improvement within a rotating 3-shift pattern (6-14, 14-22, 22-6).

As part of a DBS-driven environment, you will contribute to efficient production and teamwork in a manufacturing setting, delivering precise components to spec while supporting operational goals.

Qualifications

• Completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, Craftsman training programme, or equivalent qualification.
• Demonstrates a high level of CNC machining competence including reading drawings and tolerancing.
• Maintains high standards of health, safety and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Effectively and efficiently setting and operating CNC lathe/Milling machines using Planning Sheets, tooling, gauges and material provided.
• Maintain a good volume of work through the machine using guidelines of times on Planning Sheets or time requests.

In this role, you will be working as part of a wider team and will be responsible for:

• Effectively and efficiently setting and operating CNC lathe/Milling machines using the Planning Sheets, tooling, gauges and material provided.
• Maintain a good volume of work through the machine using the guidelines of times given on the Planning Sheets or a time given as a result of a time request.

The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include

• Completed a recognised Engineering Apprenticeship, Craftsman training programme, or equivalent qualification, or be qualified through substantial CNC machining experience within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrates a high level of CNC machining competence, including the ability to interpret engineering drawings, understand geometrical tolerancing, select appropriate tooling, perform machine set-ups, and manufacture precision components to exact specifications. Maintains a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
• Maintains high standards of health, safety and housekeeping at all times, following established procedures and promoting safe working practices. Works effectively as part of a team and contributes positively to achieving operational goals.

This is a rotating 3 shift pattern role: (6-14, 14-22 and 22-6 am)
