A leading manufacturing company in Fleet is seeking CNC Miller Setters and CNC Turner Setters for permanent positions. The role involves setting and operating various milling and turning machines, with training provided for specific controls. Qualifications

Our client has been established since 1958, manufacturing their own components for various industries. They work with a range of materials including stainless steel, SG iron, aluminium alloys, mild steel, plastics, etc., serving sectors like petrochemical, pharmaceutical, oil and gas, and water, especially where pipelines require industrial automated control. The company has 4 sites with a total workforce of 201 employees and is growing!

The current roles are for setters and operators with progression opportunities into programming, both online and offline.

Duties

1. Setting and operating 4-axis mills with Fanuc controls
2. Setting and operating mills with Heidenhain controls (training provided)
3. Setting and operating twin spindle mill/turn machines (training provided)
4. Setting and operating twin spindle twin turret lathes
5. Batch runs of 50-400 pieces

Experience

• Conventional & CNC Milling
• Use of PCs – spreadsheets, emails, etc. (must)

Qualifications

• Apprentice trained (desirable)
• Monthly paid bonus scheme (average approx. +10%)
• Life insurance

• 33 days holiday including bank holidays
• Overtime available - 1.25x on weekdays / 1.5x on Saturdays
