Job description

Join to apply for the CNC Saw Operator role at First Choice LLC.

This role is based in Wakefield Junction 41, offering a pay rate of £17 per hour. The position involves working Monday to Thursday with 10-hour shifts, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses depending on experience and certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Set, load, and operate CNC saws from digital templates (AutoCAD / Biesse / Intermac or similar).
2. Perform inspections against tight tolerances and ensure quality standards.
3. Handle and label various stones (granite, quartz, Dekton, ceramic) safely.
4. Carry out basic maintenance and fault reporting.
5. Maintain cleanliness and safety on the shop floor.
6. Assist with polishing, finishing, and loading during peak production periods.

Candidate Requirements:

• Fully qualified CNC saw operator with experience in polishing/finishing.
• Ability to read CAD / DXF files and set tooling.
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Reliable transportation to Wakefield.
• IOSH or similar safety training.
• Positive, career-driven attitude.
