We are seeking a skilled CNC Miller Machinist to set and operate a range of CNC controlled machinery within our company, producing precision machined components and tooling items according to specifications. Responsibilities include checking the quality of components, recording production data, and maintaining machinery.

The Landing Gear Market division specializes in designing, manufacturing, and repairing landing gears and critical flight components for OEMs and operators in both commercial and military sectors.

Summary of position:

The role involves setting and operating CNC milling machines such as DMG DMC U, WFL, MAZAK, CINCINNATI, UNION, TOS VARNSDORF, and MCM tank 0 MP, mainly working with Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium to tight tolerances.

Salary & Schedule:

Starting rates are competitive and vary based on experience, with shift premiums and overtime opportunities. Work schedules include night, morning, and afternoon shifts with easy access to transportation and relocation support within the UK.

Main responsibilities:

• Setting and operating CNC machines
• Producing precision components and tooling
• Quality inspection throughout production
• Accurate recording of production data
• Performing regular maintenance on machinery

Qualifications:

Experience with CNC 3/4/5 axis milling machines, working with Aluminium, Steel, and Titanium. Proficiency with Fanuc, Heidenhain, Mazatrol, or Siemens control systems is required. Willingness to develop further CNC skills is essential.
