Job summary

Optima UK in Hinckley is seeking an experienced CNC Router Programmer to join a well-established team. You will program and operate CNC routers to produce high-quality, bespoke components, using CAD and Alphacam to create and edit programmes.

You will read technical drawings, work with MDF, plywood and solid wood, and uphold safety and quality in a modern workshop. This permanent dayshift role offers training opportunities and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience in CNC programming and router operation.
• Good knowledge of CAD and Alphacam.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC routers.
• Use CAD and Alphacam to create and edit programmes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Work with MDF, plywood and solid wood.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines.
