Job summary

Optima UK Inc Ltd in Hinckley is seeking a skilled CNC Router Programmer to join a well-established joinery and interior fit-out business. You will program, set and operate CNC routers, using CAD and Alphacam to edit programmes and read technical drawings.

The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and a focus on quality. Training opportunities are available and you will work in a modern, well-equipped workshop on high-end projects in a day-shift role.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in CNC programming and router operation.
• Good knowledge of CAD and Alphacam.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Responsibilities

• Programme, set and operate CNC routers.
• Use CAD and Alphacam to create and edit programmes.
• Read and interpret technical drawings.
• Work with materials including MDF, plywood and solid wood.
• Carry out quality checks to ensure finished products meet specifications.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised workshop.
• Work closely with the wider production team to meet deadlines.

We are looking for an experienced CNC Router Programmer to join a well-established business specialising in high-end joinery and interior fit-outs.

The Role

The role will involve programming and operating CNC routers to produce high-quality, bespoke components. You will need good knowledge of CAD and Alphacam, with the ability to read technical drawings and work accurately to specifications.
