Job summary

SRS Recruitment is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer for bespoke joinery production in London. You will operate CNC machinery, interpret production drawings and CNC programmes, ensuring safety and accuracy to meet quality standards.

Reporting to the Production Manager, you will collaborate with internal teams to optimise processes, perform routine machine maintenance, and monitor progress to resolve issues quickly and maintain on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience within bespoke joinery, cabinet making or furniture manufacturing.
• Read Blueprints & manufacturing drawings.
• Good understanding of woodworking machinery and production processes.
• Replace cutters and tooling as required, ensuring correct tool management procedures are followed.
• Confident and professional & good organization skills.
• Effective communication skills.
• Measure finished components to verify compliance with drawings & tolerance.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machinery safely and efficiently in accordance with company procedures.
• Manufacture components accurately from approved CNC programmes , production drawings and job documentation.
• Ensure production follows the agreed manufacturing process.
• Carry out routine machine inspections, cleaning and maintenance.
• Communicate with internal teams to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.
• Monitor progress through the day.
• Resolve production issues quickly and effectively.
