Job summary

In-Comm Training & Business Services is seeking a CNC Programmer / Tutor Assessor to join the Aldridge Academy team. You will combine hands-on CNC machining with teaching, coaching, and assessment, delivering high-quality CNC programming and machining training to apprenticeship learners.

This dual role offers an opportunity to shape the engineers of tomorrow, with the chance to progress teaching qualifications and work within state-of-the-art workshops.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Engineering or equivalent required.
• GCSE Maths and English at Grade 4 or above (or equivalent).
• Teaching/assessing qualification (AET/CAVA) desirable; training towards these is available and funded.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality training in CNC programming and machining (milling and turning).
• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging theoretical and practical training sessions.
• Assess learners and provide constructive feedback to support progression.
• Contribute to curriculum development and maintain high training standards.
