Job summary

Yolk Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced CNC Programmer/Setter for Bridgwater. You will set and run CNC milling or turning machines, adjust programmes, and ensure parts meet drawings for demanding applications.

The role operates on a two-shift pattern with early/late hours across Monday to Friday. You'll read engineering drawings, program or edit CNC sequences, and support operators with setups while maintaining strict quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven CNC milling/turning experience.
• Experience programming or editing CNC programs.
• Ability to read engineering drawings accurately.
• Capable of performing self-inspection and ensuring quality.

Responsibilities

• Set and run CNC milling or turning centres.
• Edit and adjust programmes and machine settings as required.
• Read engineering drawings and produce components to specification.
• Carry out self-inspection and maintain quality across parts.
• Support operators with machine set-ups and assist junior machinists where needed.
