Job summary

10 Recruitment Ltd are recruiting an experienced CNC Turner Programmer/Setter/Operator to join a busy engineering shop in Bradford. You will program, set and operate CNC lathe s, reading engineering drawings and ensuring parts meet tolerances.

The role is permanent, full-time, with Monday to Friday days. You will work independently, own jobs from setup through to completion, and support junior team members while maintaining a safe, orderly workspace.

Qualifications

• Strong CNC turning experience.
• Ability to program, set and operate CNC lathes.
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of tooling and machining processes.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Experience resolving machining issues.
• Capable of taking ownership of workload.
• Willingness to mentor less experienced team members.

Responsibilities

• Programming, setting and operating CNC lathes.
• Working independently from engineering drawings.
• Setting tooling and making adjustments.
• Producing components to specification and tolerances.
• Carrying out dimensional and quality checks.
• Identifying and resolving machining issues.
• Taking ownership from setup to completion.
• Maintaining safe and organised working environment.
• Supporting and setting a positive example to developing CNC team members.
