ASC Connections is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer in Tamworth to join our precision engineering client. The role offers a permanent, day-shift position with a salary of £40,000 - £48,500 per year.

You will program, set and operate CNC milling machines, produce high-quality components from drawings, and work with engineering and production teams to meet project deadlines. A focus on precision and continuous improvement is essential.

Qualifications

• Programming, setting and operating CNC machines.
• Reading engineering drawings.
• Working to fine tolerances.
• Precision engineering or machine build environments.

Responsibilities

• Program, set and operate CNC milling machines.
• Produce high-quality precision components from engineering drawings.
• Edit and optimise existing CNC programs.
• Manufacture both one-off and small batch components.
• Inspect your own work to ensure components meet tight tolerances.
• Work closely with the engineering and production teams to deliver projects on time.
• Assist with continuous improvement and machining best practice.
