Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is seeking a CNC Programmer (Mazak) for a Stonehouse/Stroud area role. You will programme, set, and operate Mazak CNC machines (J600, 1800T, VNC510) to produce precision components from technical drawings, with a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm schedule and uncapped overtime paid at time and a half.

You should have Mazak experience, be capable of reading drawings, and be able to commit to a local site.

• Experience with Mazak machines, including setting, operating and programming.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings to produce components.

CNC Programmer (Mazak) £24 per hour + Uncapped Overtime at Time and a Half + 25 Days Holiday Stonehouse, Stroud Are you a CNC Programmer, CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist, or similar with Mazak experience, looking to join an established precision engineering business offering a Monday to Friday role, uncapped overtime, and long-term stability? On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist engineering business where you will work on a range of Mazak CNC machines, producing high-quality components to technical drawings and specifications. You will be working in a hands‑on role where accuracy, quality, and right‑first‑time production are key. In this varied role, you will programme, set, and operate Mazak machines including J600, 1800T, and VNC510 machinery. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, set tooling and machine parameters, produce precision components, carry out first article inspections, and ensure parts are manufactured to the required quality standards.

The Role:

Monday - Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm, with uncapped overtime paid at time and a half.

The offered renumeration will be dependent on the extent of your experience, qualifications, and skill set.
