Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is recruiting for a CNC Programmer (Mazak) in Stonehouse/Stroud. The role involves programming, setting and operating Mazak CNC machines to produce high-precision components from technical drawings.

You will read drawings, set tooling and parameters, and maintain tight quality standards in a Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:00pm shift with uncapped overtime paid at time and a half. You should have Mazak experience, be capable of first article inspection when needed, and

CNC Programmer (Mazak)

£24 per hour + Uncapped Overtime at Time and a Half + 25 Days Holiday

Stonehouse, Stroud

Are you a CNC Programmer, CNC Setter Operator, CNC Machinist, or similar with Mazak experience, looking to join an established precision engineering business offering a Monday to Friday role, uncapped overtime, and long-term stability?

On offer is the opportunity to join a specialist engineering business where you will work on a range of Mazak CNC machines, producing high-quality components to technical drawings and specifications. You will be working in a hands-on role where accuracy, quality, and right-first-time production are key.

In this varied role, you will programme, set, and operate Mazak machines including J600, 1800T, and VNC510 machinery. You will read and interpret engineering drawings, set tooling and machine parameters, produce precision components, carry out first article inspections, and ensure parts are manufactured to the required quality standards.

This role would suit a CNC Programmer or Mazak Setter Operator with experience programming, setting, and operating Mazak machines who is looking for a days-based role with uncapped overtime paid at time and a half.
