Job summary

Workforce Staffing in Oldham is seeking an experienced CNC Mazatrol Programmer/Setter/Operator for Mazak Integrex i200/j200 machines. You will program complex components directly at the machine, read drawings, and set up tooling to tight tolerances.

The role offers a back shift with overtime widely available, a pension, death in service, and generous holiday and sick leave. Ideally you have an engineering apprenticeship or equivalent experience and can work independently or in a small team.

Location: Oldham

Salary: £45K-£50K (Back Shift Only)

Overtime: Widely Available @ x1.5 / x2

Shift Pattern:

• Straight Back Shift: Monday - Thursday, 4:30pm - 2:30am (Friday Off)

Job Description:

• As a CNC Mazatrol Programmer/Setter/Operator, you will be responsible for:
• Programming complex components directly at the machine using Mazatrol on Mazak Integrex i200 / j200 machines
• Reading and interpreting technical engineering drawings
• Setting up tools and work holding with correct offsets
• Uploading and editing programs where needed
• Running jobs from start to finish, ensuring top-quality standards
• Working on one-off and small batch, high-precision parts

Ideal Candidate Will:

• Have solid experience programming, setting, and operating Mazak Integrex machines using Mazatrol
• Be confident working to tight tolerances in a high-precision environment
• Ideally have served an engineering apprenticeship (though experience is key)
• Be capable of working independently or as part of a small team
• Be quality-focused with excellent attention to detail
• Be flexible to support overtime as required
• Have a proactive, professional attitude with good organisational skills
