Job summary

Asper Recruitment is seeking a CNC Programmer for a joinery manufacturing environment. You will run in-house CNC machines, read technical drawings, and program using Cabinet Vision. The role requires initiative and strong attention to detail to keep production ahead of schedule.

Ideal candidates will have experience with CNC machines in joinery, be highly organized, and able to communicate effectively with the technical team and production staff.

Qualifications

• Experience operating CNC machines in joinery/manufacturing.
• Ability to read drawings from the technical team.
• Cabinet Vision software experience is essential.
• Strong time management and communication skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage self and time effectively to meet production targets.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management of shortages.
• Interpret technical drawings for programming and setup.
• Break down drawings for CNC programming and tool path creation.
• Ensure CNCs operate at maximum capacity ahead of production.
• Machining sheet materials such as MDF, plywood, veneer, and laminates.

Job description

My client are looking for a CNC Programmer within the joinery manufacturing industry. The role will involve running the in-house CNC Machines. The ideal candidate will be looking for a new challenge in a demanding work environment.

Alpha CAM OR V CAVE Experience Required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to manage yourself and your time
• Manage stock levels and inform management of any shortages
• Reading drawings from the technical team
• Breaking down drawings for programming
• Ensuring the CNCs are operating to maximum capacity. CNC must always be ahead of production/joinery department.
• Machining sheet material such as MDF, Plywoods, Veneered and laminated boards, composites, acrylics.
